How to See a Member's Forum Activity in Jetonomy

How to see a member's forum activity in Jetonomy, step by step: click a member's name, open the Discussions tab on their profile, read their accepted answers, reputation and discussions, browse the topics they started, and find your own.

In this tutorial you will see a member's forum activity in a Jetonomy community. You need the free Jetonomy plugin. This site also runs BuddyNext, which provides the profile page. It takes about two minutes. There are five steps. Click a member's name. Open the Discussions tab. Read the three numbers. Browse their topics. Then find your own. Step one. Click a member's name. In the community, a member's name is a link wherever it appears: on a topic, on a reply, and here in the Top Members card. Click a name, here Marcus O'Brien, and the profile of that member opens. Step two. Open the Discussions tab. This site runs BuddyNext alongside Jetonomy, so the name opened the BuddyNext profile. For the forum, BuddyNext adds one tab to it: Discussions. Click Discussions. Step three. Read the three numbers. Accepted answers counts the replies of this member that were marked as the accepted answer to a question. Reputation is the Jetonomy score of the member. Votes from other members on their posts move it up or down. Discussions counts the topics this member has started. Step four. Browse their topics. Under the numbers are the topics the member started, newest first. The list holds up to twenty. Each one shows the space it is in, how long ago it was posted, and its replies and votes. Click one to open the topic. Step five. Find your own. In the menu on the left, under You, Discussions opens the same tab on your own profile. Your numbers and your topics are listed the same way. Other members see them when they click your name. On a site with Jetonomy alone, a name opens the Jetonomy profile page instead. It shows reputation, topic and reply counts and the trust level, with tabs for topics, replies and votes. That is all five. A member's name clicked, the Discussions tab opened, the three numbers read, their topics browsed, and your own found. You now know where to look when you want to know who you are talking to.
