How to read the leaderboard in Jetonomy, step by step: open the Leaderboard, read a row and its medal, find your own rank, filter the board by month or week, and see the ranking on an ordinary page.

In this tutorial you will read the leaderboard of a Jetonomy community, as a member. You need the free Jetonomy plugin, and a member account to see your own rank. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open the Leaderboard. Read a row. Find your rank. Filter by period. Then see it on a page. Step one. Open the Leaderboard. On any community page, click Leaderboard in the community bar. The Top Members card in the sidebar shows the first five, and its link, View full leaderboard, opens the same page. Step two. Read a row. Members are ranked by reputation, highest first. Each row has the picture and name of the member, their reputation, and the number of topics they have started. The top three ranks get a medal: gold, silver, then bronze. Two members with the same reputation share a rank, and the same medal. Here the last two both hold bronze. A member appears here once they have earned their first point. Click a name to open that profile. Step three. Find your rank. When you are signed in and have reputation, a card above the list shows your rank, out of all ranked members. Here, third of four. You earn reputation when other members vote for your topics and replies, and when your reply is accepted as the answer to a question. Posting earns a little too: by default, two points for a topic and one for a reply. Step four. Filter by period. The board opens on All time. This month and This week keep only the members who visited the community in the last thirty, or seven, days. Click This week. A member who has not been here this week drops off, and your rank is counted again. The order is still by total reputation, not by points earned this week. Step five. See it on a page. The site owner can show the same ranking outside the community, with the Leaderboard block. Here it is on an ordinary page, open without signing in. The block lists names and reputation, ten members unless the owner sets another count. That is all five. The Leaderboard opened, a row read, your rank found, the board filtered by period, and the ranking seen on a page. Now you know who leads your community, and what it takes to join them.
