In this tutorial you will read your community analytics in Jetonomy. You need Jetonomy Pro, with its Analytics extension turned on, and an administrator account. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Turn on Analytics. Pick a period and read the totals. Read the Activity Trend. Find your busiest spaces. Then check health, moderation and export. Step one. Turn on Analytics. In your WordPress admin, open Jetonomy, then Extensions, and find the card called Analytics. Turn its switch on. It is on already here, so this tutorial does not click it. The figures are counted from your topics, replies and votes as they stand, so past weeks show at once. Step two. Pick a period and read the totals. Click Analytics in the Jetonomy menu. Three buttons set the period: 7 Days, 30 Days and 90 Days. It opens on 30 Days. Click 7 Days. Topics and Replies count what was published in the period. Votes counts the votes cast. Active Users counts the members with at least one entry in the Activity Log. The small percentage under each of the four cards compares the number with the same length of time just before. If there was nothing before, it reads plus 100 percent. Step three. Read the Activity Trend. Each row is a day with activity. The dark bar is topics, the light bar is replies, and the green one is active members. The number at the end of a row is topics plus replies. Read it for its shape, not for single numbers: a steady week, a rise, or one day that stands out. The buttons above switch the chart to the last thirty or ninety days. Step four. Find your busiest spaces. Top Spaces ranks spaces by new topics plus replies in the period, and lists ten at most. The first row is your busiest space. Topics and Replies are counted for the period only. Members is different: it is how many people the space has today. A space near the foot of this table may need a prompt from you. Beside it, Top Contributors ranks members the same way, by topics plus replies in the period. Votes is what their topics received. Step five. Check health, moderation and export. Content Health has three figures: the share of topics with no reply, the average time to a first reply, and replies per topic. Moderation counts reports made and resolved, bans, silences and spam in the period. Pending Flags is different: it is every report still waiting, whatever the period. Export CSV, at the top, downloads one line per day for the period on screen: date, topics, replies, new users and votes. That is all five. Analytics turned on, a period picked and the totals read, the Activity Trend, your busiest spaces, and health, moderation and export. You now know where your community is busy, and where it is quiet. Next in this series: Set up automatic moderation rules.
