In this tutorial you will find your way around the Jetonomy admin, so you know which screen does what. You need the free Jetonomy plugin, and an administrator account. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Open the Dashboard. Find Categories, Tags and Spaces. Find Content and Moderation. Find Users and Settings. Then see the community as a member. Step one. In your WordPress admin, click Jetonomy. It opens on the Dashboard. Six cards count your posts, replies, spaces and users. Pending Flags links straight to the reports waiting for you. Quick Actions has Create Space, View Community, and Flush Rules, for when community pages return not found. Step two. Three screens hold the structure. Categories are the sections on your community home. Tags lists every tag members put on their topics. Spaces lists every discussion area, with its type, category, join policy and visibility. Step three. Content lists every post and reply, so you can search and edit them without leaving the admin. Moderation is the review queue. It has tabs for pending posts, pending replies, flags and banned users. Activity Log records who did what. Revisions keeps the earlier versions of edited posts. It stays empty, like here, until a post or reply is edited. Step four. Users lists your members, with their trust level, reputation and post counts. Settings has a tab for each area: General, Permissions, Email, Appearance, SEO, Anti-Spam and Integrations. Import brings in a forum from bbPress, wpForo or Asgaros. With Jetonomy Pro, an Extensions screen turns each Pro feature on or off. Step five. Now see it as a member. Open the community on your site. Each section is a category, and each card is a space. Open one, and you are in the discussions those admin screens manage. That is all five. The Dashboard, the structure screens, Content and Moderation, Users and Settings, and the community as a member sees it. You now know where everything in Jetonomy lives. Next in this series: Create a space and choose its type.
