How to add a companion plugin to Jetonomy, step by step: open the Wbcom family on the Integrations tab, see what each of the six plugins adds, read the state of a card, and add the plugin.

In this tutorial you will add a companion plugin to Jetonomy. You need Jetonomy, which is free, and an administrator account that may install plugins. It takes about two minutes. There are four steps. Open the Wbcom family. See what each plugin adds. Read the state of a card. Then add the plugin. Step one. Open the Wbcom family. In your WordPress admin, open Jetonomy, then Settings, then Integrations. The tab starts with Part of the Wbcom family. Jetonomy is one of a set of plugins that are built to work together. Each of them also works alone, so you add only the ones your community needs. Step two. See what each plugin adds. There are six cards. The green line on a card is what the plugin brings to your forum. WB Gamification adds points and badges across the community. MediaVerse adds photo and video posts next to your spaces. BuddyNext adds a community feed and member profiles. In the second row, Learnomy is for online courses. With Jetonomy Pro, a space can be opened to the students of a course, and they get in automatically. WP Career Board is for job listings and applicants, and Listora is for directory listings that members send in. These two run beside your forum, so their cards have no green line. Step three. Read the state of a card. The badge beside the name tells you where you stand. On this site all six read Connected: the plugin is active and Jetonomy has found it. A plugin that is not on your site yet has a different badge, and its grey button is replaced by one that installs the free version. Step four. Add the plugin. On this site there is nothing to add, every card already reads Connected. Where a card reads Not installed, the button in this place installs the free version. Jetonomy fetches it from the Wbcom store, installs it, activates it and brings you back to this tab. The card then reads Connected, and the matching features turn on by themselves. The line under the cards says the same. Learn more opens the page of the plugin in the store. That is all four.
