One email that replaces a stream of them
A busy community sends a lot of notifications. A reply here, a mention there, a new topic in a space someone follows. Sent one at a time, those emails train members to filter you out. The email digest gathers them into a single, curated recap and sends it on a schedule you control, either daily or weekly.
The digest is built from real activity since the last send: the top new topics by upvotes, the discussions drawing the most replies, activity in the spaces each member follows, and new replies on the topics they started or commented on. It also folds in the badges the member earned and the polls they voted on during the window, so the email feels personal rather than generic. Every section can be toggled on or off, and at least one stays on.
Each member sets their own pace
Frequency is a member choice, not a global switch. From their notification settings, each member picks instant, daily digest, weekly digest, or none. Choosing daily or weekly turns off the per-event emails entirely, so the digest replaces that noise instead of adding to it. New members default to daily, and you can change that default for your community.
Behind the scenes, badges and polls are tracked in a per-user buffer that is cleared only after a successful send, so a member who opts out never accumulates state and a missed send never loses the activity.
Preview it, then watch it work
Before you go live, the Test Send section emails you a real digest built from the last seven days, so you can check formatting and content on your own inbox. Once it is running, the settings page reports digests sent and how many members are on daily versus weekly versus none over the last 90 days. If you connect a supported ESP adapter, you also get open and click rates, so you can tell whether the recap is doing its job.
