Every community page can carry your own offer, sign-up or help link. In this video you will add widgets to the Jetonomy sidebar, set a Support URL, and keep moderation and members tidy from one place. You need the free Jetonomy plugin. It takes about three minutes. There are four steps. Add widgets to the Community Sidebar. Set your Support URL. Clear Pending and Spam in moderation. Then find a member in a space. Step one. Add widgets to the Community Sidebar. In your WordPress admin, open Appearance, then Widgets. Community Sidebar is its own area. Anything you add here, a banner, a sign-up form or a list of links, shows in the sidebar on every community page. Add your blocks, then click Update. Step two. Set your Support URL. In Jetonomy, open Settings. On the General tab, Support URL sits beside the Terms and Privacy addresses. Paste the page where members should get help, then click Save changes. The Terms of Service URL and Privacy Policy URL work the same way. Step three. Clear Pending and Spam in moderation. On the community, open Moderation, then Awaiting approval. Show chooses what you see. Pending are posts waiting for a decision. Spam are posts marked as spam. Click Apply to switch. This site has nothing waiting, so the list is empty. When posts are held, you approve or remove them right here. Step four. Find a member in a space. Open a space to edit it, then the Members tab. This space has fifty six members. Type a name, a username or an email into the box, and click Search Members. The list shows fifty members to a page. Use Next to move through the rest. That is all four. Community Sidebar widgets added, the Support URL set, Pending and Spam cleared, and a member found in a space. Your community is ready for your offer. Next in this series: Keep your job board tidy.
