In this tutorial you will bookmark topics and follow spaces in Jetonomy, so you never lose a discussion. You need a member account on a site that runs the free Jetonomy plugin. It takes about three minutes. There are five steps. Bookmark a topic. Open My bookmarks. Follow a space. Follow a topic. Then manage My Subscriptions. Step one. Bookmark a topic. Open the topic. The bookmark button is in the row under the first post, beside the share link. Click it. The icon fills in, and the topic is saved. Nobody else can see your bookmarks. Click it again to remove the bookmark. Step two. Open My bookmarks. It is your community address, followed by bookmarks. Every topic you saved is listed, newest first. Click a title to open the topic. The button at the end of each row removes that bookmark. Step three. Follow a space. Open the space, and click Follow, beside the topic and member counts. The button changes to Following. From now on you get a notification each time someone starts a new topic here. Click Following to stop. Step four. Follow a topic. Every topic has its own Follow button, beside the title. Click it to hear about new replies. When you start a topic yourself, you follow it automatically. Step five. Manage it all in one place. Click My Subscriptions in the panel beside any community page. It lists the spaces you follow, then the topics. The label beside each name shows how you are notified: Web, Email, or both. That follows your notification settings. Click Unfollow on any row to stop following it. That is all five. A topic bookmarked, My bookmarks opened, a space followed, a topic followed, and My Subscriptions managed. The discussions you care about now come to you.
